What did you learn?

What were you proud of?

* That I could keep the rhythm – “Big–little, Big-little, Big-little ...

*That I could jump the big, long rope.

*I can jump high, fast and backwards.

What was tricky for you?

*Little ropes are hard to do.

*Keeping the rhythm – “Big/little, Big/little ...

*Flipping the rope over my body.

*Trying not to get hit by the rope.

*Waiting my turn.

*Waiting for the rope turners.

What will we do next?

*Show resilience, keep trying again and again.

Reading Eggs is helping my reading.

"I do Reading Eggs at home on an ipad.  I am on level 9.  I like to do Reading Eggs."

I am learning to sound out vowels as the middle sounds, and write silly sentences.

Decorating Our Hat

What did you learn?

What were you proud of?

* Creating lovely patterns.

* Carefully painting the sections on the hat..

* Making our patterns look beautiful and not messy.

What was tricky for you?

* To not be messy and go over the lines.

* Painting carefully in the sections.

* Drawing the patterns carefully.

* Trying to make the patterns big enough.

* Drawing enough patterns to make an even amount.

What will we do next?

* To make a hat for my brother.

* To make a hat with different patterns.

I am learning to identify capital letters, full stops, exclamation marks and question marks.

"I look at the words, and I point to the words.  I look at the pictures.  I talk louder if there is an exclamation mark.  I see full stops in the story."

I am learning to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense.

"I have to remember to do finger spaces, full stops, and sound out the words.  It is hard to sound out the words sometimes.  Sometimes I help my friends with their writing, and Mrs Wyatt helps me with my writing."

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting the objects.

"This is easy for me to count the objects.  I like to do maths.  I am good at maths.  My brother helps me to learn maths."

What did you find tricky?

*  Not throwing the ball too high.

*  Throwing the ball.

*  Focussing on the ball.

*  To roll the ball in the right direction.

*  Trying to catch the ball.

What would you like to do next?

*  Bounce the ball to each other.

*  Bounce, walk and catch the balls.

*  Dribble the balls like in basketball and soccer.
